Asperula subulifolia Airy Shaw & Turrill APNI* 
Description: Erect to ascending, rigid perennial herb with woody rootstock; stems to 25 cm long, finely and densely hairy, internodes to 3.7 cm long.
Leaves and stipules in whorls of 6, ± erect or ascending, subulate to linear-subulate, 2–8 mm long, flexuous towards tip, apex very acute, midrib broad, lamina densely hairy.
Flowers in terminal heads. Corolla white; male flowers in clusters of 3–8, 1.5–3 mm long, female flowers 1 or 2 together, 1–1.5 mm long.
Fruit 1–2 mm long.
Flowering: probably spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in sclerophyll forest; uncommon, north from Cooma.
