Description: Many-stemmed herb to 50 cm high, stems terete or finely fluted, glabrous.
Basal and stem leaves entire to variously 2–3-pinnatisect, slender, to 3 cm long.
Inflorescence dense, not elongating. Sepals 1.5–3.5 mm long. Petals 2–4.5 mm long, yellow. Siliqua straight or curved, 6–25 mm long; valves convex, often compressed between seeds, with distinct midvein; seeds in 2 rows; pedicel spreading, 6–10 mm long.
Distribution and occurrence: Widespread in inland regions.
