Allocasuarina ophiolitica L.A.S.Johnson APNI*
Description: Dioecious shrub 1–3 m high.
Branchlets to 19 cm long; articles occasionally with waxy bloom, 7–14 mm long, 0.6–1.0 mm diam.; teeth 7–9, narrow-triangular, 0.5–1.3 mm long.
Cones on peduncle 6–15 mm long; cone body 9–20 mm long, 7–12 mm diam.; bracteoles obtuse to very broad-acute. Samara 3.5–6.0 mm long, mid-brown.
Distribution and occurrence: Bralga Tops to Curricabark and Glenrock. In tall heath on serpentinite substrate.
NSW subdivisions: NC, NT
Teeth less spreading than in A. rigida.
