Agrostis boormanii Vickery APNI*
Description: Slender, erect or somewhat geniculate, tufted annual, to c. 0.3 m high; culms 1- or 2-noded.
Leaves with sheath appressed to the culm or slightly loose in the upper part; ligule obtuse, laciniate, c. 3 mm long; blade acuminate, shallowly grooved, 5–10 cm long, 1–1.5 mm wide.
Panicle rather contracted, linear-lanceolate, erect or erectly spreading. Spikelets c. 2 mm long, greenish and purple-tinted. Glumes acute, unequal. Lemma thin, truncate, 1.2–1.5 mm long; awn rather fine, shortly exserted. Palea absent.
Flowering: spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Known from type locality only, at Harveys Ra. near Peak Hill.
