Adenochilus nortonii Fitzg. APNI* 
Description: Terrestrial herb.
Leaf ovate to lanceolate, to 3 cm long and 12 mm wide, with reddish spots on lower surface.
Inflorescence to 15 cm high. Flower 10–20 mm diam.; outer surfaces with reddish glandular hairs, inner surfaces white. Lateral sepals up to a third longer and about twice as broad as lateral petals. Labellum lamina with red bars and yellow calli. Calli ridge extended to tip of midlobe with calli growing increasingly compressed towards midlobe tip. Wings of the column irregularly wrinkled to coarsely toothed towards apex.
Flowering: November–December
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in wet rocky crevices of cliff faces among pockets of leaf litter, under rock overhangs, or near creeks in Nothofagus forest, often in Sphagnum moss; usually above 900 m alt., in the Blue Mtns, Barrington Tops and New England N.P.
