Description: Shrub to 2 m high, sparsely clothed with silky hairs or glabrous, bluish or reddish glaucous.
Leaves 1–3 cm long, including a terete petiole 8–10 mm long; leaflets 1–3 pairs folded together upwards, elliptic to oblanceolate, 15–30 mm long, 5–12 mm wide, apex acute or obtuse, glands 1–3, between all or the lower leaflet pairs.
Flowers 6–15 in axillary, sub-umbellate racemes near the ends of the branches; petals glabrous, 8–10 mm long, stamens 10, anthers sub-equal.
Pods flat, c. 7 cm long, 15–25 mm wide, straight or slightly curved.
Flowering: Flowers winter and spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Inland plains and rocky slopes; north from Cobar.
