Pomaderris prunifolia var. prunifolia Fenzl APNI* 
Description: Shrub 1–3 m high, stems with rusty stellate hairs.
Leaves ovate to oblong to ± elliptic, 2–4 cm long, 8–15 mm wide, apex broadly acute; margins ± toothed; upper surface very wrinkled, scabrous with simple hairs, rarely ± glabrous; lower surface ± rusty with stellate hairs.
Flowers yellow, shortly pedicellate in short panicles. Petals absent. Hypanthium with long whitish hairs, capsule with long rusty hairs.
Distribution and occurrence: On rocky slopes, often along creeks. Mainly south of the Hunter Valley, also at the western extremity of the Nandewar Ra. and Chandler R. gorge; not common. On rocky slopes, often along creeks.
