Description: Shrubs 10–50 cm high.
Leaves mostly narrow-elliptic, 5–18 mm long, 3–10 mm wide, covered on both surfaces with fine or coarse long antrorse hairs, margins ciliate.
Heads 5–18-flowered, flowers 5–8 mm long. Flowers yellow or greenish yellow, often with red sepals; hypanthium bearing coarse antrorse or loosely appressed hairs; peduncles not elongating in fruit.
Fruit 2.5 mm long.
Distribution and occurrence: In sclerophyll forest, often in rocky sites, Rylstone – Merriwa – Cessnock area.
