Leaves narrow-elliptic, 5–22 mm long, 2–4 mm wide. with long sparse spreading hairs on lower surface and margins.
Flowers 5–9 mm long, greenish yellow, in heads of 7–22 flowers,, with short fine loosely appressed hairs becoming denser on the persistent base.
