Description: Slender shrub or small tree 1–3 m high.
Leaves not flat, margins tending to recurve (but sometimes incurve); lower surface usually paler, apex usually acute or, if obtuse, >2 mm wide. Lamina usually glabrous, oblanceolate, 10–20 mm long, 2–3(–4) mm wide.
Flowers c. 12 mm diam., greenish or creamy white. Hypanthium 25–35 mm long. Sepals 2–2.5 mm long.
Fruit 6–10 mm diam.
Flowering: Flowers mostly November and December
Distribution and occurrence: Mainly distributed south fromm the Gosford district. Heath or sclerophyll forest on deep sand or in skeletal soil, usually on sandstone, often in moist depressions or along rocky watercourses.
