Gynura drymophila var. glabrifolia P.I.Forst. & Thongp. APNI* Description: Foliage glabrous, light green. Leaves when fully turgid, strongly rigid and strongly concave adaxially.
Distribution and occurrence: Disjunct distribution over great distances, in Cape York Peninsula in Queensland and the north coast of NSW.
NSW subdivisions: NC
Possibly this variety is a rarely occurring genetic variant of Gynura drymophila var. drymophilla.
