Description: Trees with smooth, variegated bark throughout.
Juvenile leaves ovate to broad-lanceolate,to 21 cm long and 7.5 cm wide, blue–green or grey–green, pruinose. Adult leaves lanceolate or falcate, to 23 cm long and 4.2 cm wide, blue-green; venation sparsely to moderately reticulate.
Umbellasters 7(–13)-flowered. Mature buds pedicellate, pedicels 0.2–0.6 cm long, opercula evenly tapering, rounded to obtuse.
Flowering: Mostly October–December
Distribution and occurrence: Mostly confined to the western part of the North Far Western Plains.
