Juvenile leaves ovate or elliptical, 6–12.5 cm long, 2–6.5 cm wide. Adult leaves lanceolate or falcate, 7–19 cm long, 1.2–3.5 cm wide, flat; petiole 9–25 mm long.
Peduncles 3–20 mm long; pedicels 3–8 mm long. Buds ovoid or globose, 4–8 mm long, 5–7 mm diam. Petals 3–4 mm long, 3–4 mm wide. Hypanthium usually glabrous.
Fruit ovoid or campanulate, sometimes apically narrowed, 10–18 mm long, 9–17 mm diam.
Distribution and occurrence: From Bodalla and Narooma to Coffs Harbour and west to the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, with some disjunct populations in northern Queensland. Locally abundant, on deep sandy soils or sandy soils on sandstone; often coastal.
