Flowers in racemes. Sepals dimorphic. Petals clawed.
Siliqua dehiscent, beakless; valves with prominent midvein; seeds in 2 rows per loculus.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 3 species, Africa, Europe to Japan. Australia: 1 species (naturalized).
