Description: Terrestrial herbs, sympodial; tubers obovoid or globose.
Leaf solitary [or 2–3] at the base of the stem, ovate to cordate, held flat on the ground.
Inflorescence a raceme, usually 2–8-flowered, rarely flowers solitary, terminal. Perianth leathery. Dorsal sepal free, closely hooded, curved over the column, ± deflexed or recurved towards the tip. Lateral sepals free, about as long as but narrower than dorsal sepal; petals free, similar to lateral sepals. Labellum much shorter than sepals, curved, with incurved, column-embracing margins, sessile or almost so, 3-lobed near the base, ± papillose, the lamina bearing scattered calli. Column slender, curved, winged. Anther erect, 2-locular. Pollinia 4, granular or mealy.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 2 species, endemic Australia. all States except Qld and N.T.
