Description: Shrubs or small straggling trees.
Flowers axillary, solitary on short thick peduncles. Sepals short, persistent. Petals spreading, not persistent, pubescent. Stamens numerous, connective of anthers elongated. Carpels 3–5, each usually with 3 ovules.
Fruit a cluster of berries, shallowly constricted between seeds.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 2 species, endemic Australia. Australia: Qld, N.S.W.
