Description: Terrestrial herbs, sympodial; tubers obovoid or globose.
Leaf solitary at the base of the stem, narrowly lanceolate, erect.
Inflorescence racemose, usually 2–10-flowered, terminal. Flowers resupinate. Dorsal sepal free, wider than but of similar length to lateral sepals. Lateral sepals free. Lateral petals free, similar to lateral sepals. Labellum free, much shorter than sepals, curved, with incurved, column-embracing margins, sessile or almost so, 3-lobed near the base, ± papillose, the lamina bearing calli, sometimes ridged. Column lacking free filament and style, slender, curved, winged. Anther erect, 2-locular. Pollinia 4, granular or mealy.
Distribution and occurrence: World: c. 2 species, Australia (endemic.), all States except N.T. & S.A.
