Description: Annual or perennial herbs, usually hairy.
Flowers in racemes. Sepals equal, spreading. Petals clawed, short. Stamens without appendages.
Silicula compressed, dehiscent, septum broad; valves with a midvein; loculus 1-seeded.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 5 species, Canary Is., Mediterranean & Arabian Pen. Australia: 1 species (naturalized).
