Flowers in racemes. Sepals erect to spreading, dimorphic. Glands usually obsolete. Style to 1–2 mm long.
Siliqua spindle-shaped, hairy, dehiscent, valves with one midvein; seeds in 2 rows, mucilaginous when wet.
