Description: Annual herb, with indumentum of simple hairs or absent.
Leaves alternate, pinnatifid or margin dentate.
Inflorescence cymose, lax and more or less flat topped or reduced to solitary terminal heads. Heads pedunculate, heterogamous, radiate. Involucre cup-shaped, involucral bracts in 4 rows, rigid herbaceous. Receptacle convex without scales. Ray florets in 1 row, female, fertile, yellow or yellow and white. Disc florets yellow, bisexual.
Ray achenes 3-angled and laterally winged; disc achenes prismatic with a narrow adaxial wing or terete.
Distribution and occurrence: Naturalised in NSW on coast and western plains.
