Description: Climbing saprophytic herbs, monopodial; roots from nodes of the main stems, creeping over the surface of the substrate or aerial.
Leaves brown, scattered along the shoot, many, convolute.
Inflorescence racemose or paniculate, many-flowered, lateral or terminal; flowers resupinate. Sepals free, similar. Lateral petals free, similar to sepals. Labellum free, attached to the tip of the column foot; lamina not lobed, with numerous transverse, parallel ridges on both sides of median keel. Column lacking free filament and style; column wings absent. Column foot much shorter than column, tapering into the median ridge of the labellum. Anther incumbent, cap-like. Pollinia 2, waxy. Stigma entire. Rostellum absent.
Seeds crustose, winged.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 3 species, Asia, Malesia, Australia. Australia: 1 species (endemic).
