Description: Annual herbs.
Flowers in racemes, scape leafless. Sepals equal, not saccate. Petals deeply bifid.
Silicula dehiscent, septum broad; valves with 1 prominent midvein becoming indistinct above; seeds numerous, minute, in 2 rows.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 10 species, Mediterranean & Europe. Australia: 1 species (naturalized).
