Description: Trees, aromatic in all parts.
Inflorescences 3-flowered, axillary, in the bud stage enclosed by 2 non-persistent bracts. Flowers bisexual, 3- or 4-merous. Perianth segments 4 or 6. Stamens usually 6, with elongated connectives; staminodes 6–12. Receptacle enlarged around fruit, prominently ribbed and with a narrow neck, splitting and releasing the hairy achenes.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 2 species, endemic Australia. Australia: Qld, N.S.W.
