Description: Annual or perennial herb.
Leaves variable, mostly narrow with linear to triangular lobes or toothed, petiolate, foetid when crushed.
Sepals ± spreading. Petals lemon-yellow. Stigma capitate. Siliqua flattened parallel with septum; beak seedless, 2-edged; valves with 1 prominent vein; pedicel usually spreading.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 27 species, Europe & Mediterranean. Australia: 2 species (naturalized), N.S.W., Vic., Tas., S.A., W.A.
