Description: Perennial herbs with creeping rhizomes.
Leaves in a basal rosette, ovate or ± circular; petiolate, sheathing at base, extending on each side at the apex as filiform points.
Inflorescence terminal, a simple umbel; bracts linear. Flowers bisexual and unisexual within each umbel; yellow-green. Sepals minute. Petals ovate or obovate, inflexed at the apex. Stylopodium shortly conical.
Fruit flattened dorsally; carpophore shortly bifid; mericarps ovate, smooth, the ribs ± inconspicuous.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 2 species, endemic Australia. Australia: N.S.W., Vic., Tas.
