Description: Shrubs or small trees.
Leaves alternate, simple, margins toothed.
Inflorescences terminal corymbose panicles. Calyx tubular, 5–7-toothed. Petals 5–7. Stamens 5–7. Ovary superior, 4- or 5-locular; style short, simple; stigma depressed-globose.
Fruit a capsule, 4- or 5-locular; seeds numerous, ± ovoid.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 1 species, endemic Australia. Australia: 1 species, endemic.
