Description: Annual herbs with a fleshy taproot, glabrous.
Lower leaves 1–2-pinnate; long petiolate, sheathing at base; leaflets oblong to ovate. Leaves subtending inflorescences dissected, sessile to short petiolate; segments narrow-linear.
Inflorescence a compound umbel; bracts few or absent, bracteoles simple, reflexed. Flowers bisexual or male, white. Sepals inconspicuous. Petals of the outer flowers "winged" and larger than the inner flowers, inflexed. Stylopodium conical.
Fruit globose, glabrous. Mericarps not separating at maturity, with 5 main ribs separated by secondary ribs.
