Description: Annual herbs, glabrous.
Flowers in racemes. Sepals erect, dimorphic, the medians saccate. Petals long-clawed.
Siliqua dehiscent, angled, beaked; valves with prominent midrib; seeds in 1 row per loculus.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 7 species, Mediterranean, Europe to Asia. Australia: 1 species (naturalized).
