Description: Woody climbers.
Leaves pinnately veined.
Inflorescences axillary, terminal or cauliflorous, spike-like or thyrsoid; flowers often clustered. Sepals up to 30, appearing cone-like. Petals 6, minute. Male flowers with 6 stamens, free. Female flowers without staminodes, carpels 6, pilose.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 3 species, Australia & New Guinea. Australia: 2 species (1 species endemic), Qld, N.S.W.
