Flowers in racemes. Sepals erect, dimorphic. Petals long-clawed. Style leaf-like; stigma capitate.
Silicula dehiscent, differentiated into 2 segments; upper segment a compressed sterile beak; lower segment subglobose, 3-veined, 3- or 4-seeded.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 1 species, Mediterranean region. Australia: 1 species (naturalized).
