Description: Annual herbs.
Flowers in racemes. Sepals erect, equal. Petals clawed.
Silicula dehiscent; valves with a strong midrib, obscure above; seeds in 2 rows per loculus, mucilaginous when wet.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 10 species, Europe to C Asia. Australia: 2 species (naturalized), N.S.W, Vic., Tas., S.A., W.A.
