Description: Climbers with alternate leaves.
Leaves ± fleshy, margins entire, pinnately veined.
Flowers in axillary or terminal racemes. Perianth short. Stamens inserted at the base of the perianth.
Distribution and occurrence: World: 5–10 species, America. Australia: 1 species (naturalized).
